Our parents recommend...
Last weekend, parents from Queen Elizabeth School went to the "Beasty Christmas" play at the Teatro Alcazar in Calle Alcala with their 2-4 year old children. The English-speaking family show aimed at children left parents and kids enchanted:
"The play was a fun way for our children to practice their English, all the characters sing and dance. They had songs and festive atmosphere with an easy dialogue. Our children aren't three yet, but they remained seated and attentive throughout the entire play, which lasts about an hour. The almost twenty people that went to the play, children and adults, went away enchanted".
"My three year daughter and I went to the theater last weekend with school classmates and other friends and we had a very good time with 'A Beasty Christmas'. I really recomend going to this event. It's a play full of surprises and excitement for young boys and girls and a very good way to have a wonderful time with your children.
Remember to practise Christmas carols before going to the theater and prepare for singing and enjoying a lot!"
The play will continue in Madrid until the 8th of January 2012 with regular Sunday matinees.
